Desert Rose Pool Care: Top-three local rankings and customers arriving from ChatGPT
I replaced a generic WordPress site with a faster, more useful local presence and used paid search only while organic discovery gained traction.
01: Situation
What we were solving
The Phoenix-area pool service company had more than 20 years of operating history, but its template site was not generating a dependable flow of new customers.
Local search was the primary discovery channel. Generic pages made the company difficult to distinguish and missed valuable intent such as pool care for short-term-rental properties.
02: Work
What I did
I rebuilt the site around the language local customers use and created pages for service needs competitors had overlooked.
I ran Google Ads as a temporary source of demand while the new organic and answer-focused content had time to gain visibility.
03: Outcome
What changed
The company reached the top three for many target searches and began appearing in Google answer surfaces. Paid search was retired after roughly three months.
New customers have also told the company that ChatGPT recommended it, giving the team a useful early signal that its work is being found beyond traditional search.
