Desert Rose Pool Care: Top-three local rankings and customers arriving from ChatGPT
A custom site and search program replaced a generic WordPress presence, targeted overlooked service intent, and used paid search only as a bridge while organic discovery matured.
01 · Situation
The operating context
The Phoenix-area pool service company had more than 20 years of operating history, but its template site was not generating a dependable flow of new customers.
Local search was the primary discovery channel. Generic pages made the company difficult to distinguish and missed valuable intent such as pool care for short-term-rental properties.
02 · Work
What changed
Rebuilt the site as a custom, performance-focused property and mapped landing pages to the language and service gaps visible in the local market.
Ran Google Ads as a temporary demand bridge while the new organic, answer-engine, and entity signals had time to mature.
03 · Outcome
Results, with the evidence attached
The company reports ranking in the top three for many target searches and appearing in Google answer surfaces. Paid search was retired after roughly three months.
Most notably for AI discovery, new customers have reportedly told the company that ChatGPT recommended it. That is a client-reported acquisition signal, not a claim of universal or persistent model visibility.
