As Director of E-Commerce at skinbetter science, I scaled the direct-to-consumer channel while the company navigated its acquisition by L’Oreal, one of the world’s largest beauty companies. The mandate: accelerate DTC growth, protect brand equity, and keep a complex platform migration on schedule through the transition.

What I did: insourced paid media management from an agency, rebuilt the acquisition funnel, implemented lifecycle email programs, and led the E-Commerce platform migration during the acquisition.

Ryan’s Pet Supplies: 500% online revenue growth in four years

Ryan’s Pet Supplies had strong regional brand recognition and a primarily catalog-based operation. I built the E-Commerce operation from early-stage to mature and turned it into a national online business, then led multi-storefront Shopify Plus management after the parent company acquisition.

What I did: built the E-Commerce operation end to end, implemented Klaviyo for lifecycle marketing, optimized the full purchase funnel, ran the SEO strategy, and managed the multi-brand storefront portfolio post-acquisition.

Desert Rose Pool Care: Top 3 rankings, answer boxes, and customers arriving from ChatGPT

Desert Rose Pool Care is a Phoenix-area pool service company with 20+ years in business and a WordPress template site that was not bringing in new customers. Local search was the whole game, and they were losing it.

What I did: rebuilt the site as a fully custom build, researched what locals were actually searching for, and found service gaps competitors ignored, like pool care for short-term rental properties. I built differentiation landing pages for each gap and ran Google Ads as a bridge while SEO, AEO, and GEO matured; after about three months the ads came off.

Today they rank in the top 3 for many target searches, appear in Google answer boxes, and have signed new customers who said ChatGPT recommended them.

Seacoast Building & Design is a Southwest Florida general and roofing contractor with 40+ years in business and a specialty in custom container structures. Their WordPress site was poorly built and showing up several pages deep in Google searches, invisible for the work they wanted to win. Their team was also burning hours every week on recurring research tasks.

What I did: rebuilt the entire site on modern frameworks optimized for SEO, AEO, and GEO, and turned the recurring research into automated email reports, so the team spends its time acting on the data instead of mining for it.

FoundedByZ: from a Wix template to a 100-point SEO score on custom Next.js

foundedbyz.com is a keynote speaking and sales education consulting practice. The founder had a Wix template site that looked generic, had no scheduling path for prospects, and scored poorly across SEO, AEO, and GEO. I scrapped it and built a fully custom Next.js site with a hand-crafted design system, migrated hosting to Vercel, and eliminated her monthly platform cost.

What I did: rebuilt the site from the ground up with dedicated pages for her methodology, services, speaking, blog, and testimonials. Replaced a raw mailto CTA with a segmented contact form and Cal.com scheduling. Completed a full technical pass: seven JSON-LD schema types, canonicals, sitemap, AI-crawler-ready robots.txt, and llms.txt.

ElixirGrow Technologies, an agricultural biotechnology company I co-founded, needed its entire digital presence built from scratch plus a B2B partner acquisition strategy to penetrate a massive but fragmented market.

What I did: built the website and digital infrastructure, designed and launched Google Ads campaigns for B2B lead generation, created a partner acquisition funnel targeting enterprise prospects, and established the brand’s online presence through Google Business Profile and SEO.
